Clawhammer Style Banjo Weekend
Join us for a detailed look at clawhammer style banjo from the basics through to more advanced techniques, taught by Dan Walsh. If you’re starting at the beginning, you’ll have the chance to learn the fundamentals of clawhammer style and players of all levels will be introduced to many different ideas to facilitate improvement.
Dan will be helping you build on your existing skills and techniques, adding some new ones along the way, and teaching you some new tunes into your repertoire.
Who is it for?
To get the most out of this course, you’ll be a beginner to intermediate banjo player wanting to work on your clawhammer technique. You don’t need to be able to read music or learn by ear, and you won’t be asked to prepare any music in advance.
